Assemble the eyebolts

Place the Photon Board with the diodes facing up. Place the eyebolts through the back, leaving the eyelet on the back side of the product. Attach the wingnut on the front, making sure it's well tightened up.

Assemble the driver

Turn it around so the diodes are facing down and the power output connector on the right side. Place the driver in the middle of the board, matching the power output connector on the right. Match with the holes on the board. Place a screw in each of the 4 holes and tighten it using a 3mm HEX key (not included).

Connect the cables

Make sure the text on the driver is facing you. Connect the power cable with the connector on the left side of the driver. Connect the dimmer and the power output connectors on the right side, like shown on the following illustrations:

Hang it

Use the rope ratchets or the wired snap hooks to hang the board. Use one per eyelet, using the four points of hang. Use the following illustrations as reference:

 WARNINGS 

This appliance is not to be operated and/or cleaned by: children, pets or persons with reduced physical, sensory/mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge.

After removing the packing materials check the integrity of the appliance. If something doesn’t look right and/or it’s damaged, do not use it and ask for professional help. The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foams, etc...) must be kept out of reach of children.

​

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by inappropriate, or irresponsible use. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any attachments that are not recommended or sold by it and/or for repairs made to the product by unauthorized personnel.

​

Be sure that every part of the appliance is correctly assembled in line with the instructions provided. Incorrect assembly can be dangerous and a hazard for persons, animals and objects. The supplier cannot be considered responsible in case the product is not assembled correctly.

 

Unplug the appliance before if it has damaged/worn out parts or if it shows any irregularities. It should be returned to the manufacturer, it’s service agent or any similar qualified person for repair.

Unplug the appliance before assembly, disassembly and before cleaning or adjusting any parts of the product.

​

Position the appliance at a reasonable distance from any object that could cause deficient operation. Do not cover the appliance or have it positioned incorrectly.

​

Never immerse the appliance completely in water or any other liquids. Suitable for a damp location - IP65 Rated.

​

Do not leave the appliance near any flammable materials or substances. Do not place the appliance near an open flame, cookers or any other heating appliance.

​

The electrical installation must be carried out in accordance with the current national electrical regulations.

​

Isolate the electrical supply before connecting the power cable.

​

This appliance must be earthed via the power cable plug and the electrical supply to the socket must be correctly connected to the earth point in the terminal box or consumer unit.

​

It is responsibility of the installation electrician to calculate the safe working current by considering the mains voltage, total power and cable length.

​

Do not allow the power cable to contact on hot surfaces, including the luminaire shell or bodywork. The cable should be safely routed and secured. This product must be installed by people familiar with the structure and operation of the product.

​

Regularly check if the power cable shows signs of damage. If it shows signs of damage it should be returned to the manufacturer, it’s service agent or any similar qualified person for repair.

​

To unplug the appliance use the socket, do not pull the power cable or the appliance itself when disconnecting the plug from the socket.

​

In general, the use of adaptors, multiples plugs and/or extensions is not recommended, if they are necessary, use only simple or multiple adaptors and extensions in accordance with the applicable safety standards.

​

All the components in the luminaire shall not be replaced or serviced by an unqualified person. If it shows signs of damage it should be returned to the manufacturer, it’s service agent or any similar qualified person for repair.

​

In the interests of electrical safety a 30 mA residual current device (RCD not supplied) should be installed in the supply circuit. This may be part of a consumer unit or a separate unit.
